AT&T Global Public Sector in Columbia, Maryland is seeking a Hardware Technician II to provide advanced on-site and remote IT hardware support, ensuring customers stay connected and productive.

The role requires 5 days on-site per week with no relocation offers. Candidates should have 3–5 years IT experience, TS/SCI? (not required for this role), and 8570/Security+ preferences. Extensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant IT experience.
• 8570 Certification; Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 2 and 3 support for hardware on-site and remotely.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed documentation.
• Prepare hardware procurement specs and installation schedules.
• Install and configure hardware and cabling as required.
• Train site personnel in proper hardware use and maintenance.
• Maintain and support fiber optic modems, multiplexers, and related equipment.
• Follow SOPs and use ticketing systems for issue tracking.
• Provide timely end-user connectivity support and guidance.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business units.
