Akima seeks a Training and Field Support Specialist to enhance client workforce through comprehensive course materials, training sessions, and end-user support. The role involves both virtual and on-site delivery, requiring strong communication and field support skills.

Responsibilities include mastering analytical applications, creating training materials, collaborating with developers, and refining programs with stakeholders to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Willingness to travel 25% or more.
• Experience delivering training to intelligence personnel for analytic workflows.
• Experience using analytic tools and databases for intelligence analysis.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and customer service.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills and data analysis with Excel.
• Knowledge of Human Language Technologies (HLT) like CAT tools, MT, OCR, TMM, ASR.
• Experience in IT support or Windows IT environment (3+ years).
• Formal IT/education-related training is desirable.
• Experience with Intelligence Community operations, platforms, and terminology.
• Experience supporting IT training for US Federal agencies or helpdesk-like environments.
• Experience with law enforcement operations.
• Familiarity with Intelligence Community processes.

Responsibilities

• Master analytical applications to instruct end users on system functions.
• Create comprehensive training materials tailored to courses.
• Provide frontline field support including ad hoc training and incident assistance.
• Coordinate with developers to improve tool capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine training programs to evolving needs.
