Job summary

State of South Carolina's Office of Mental Health seeks a Postal Courier to support functional mail operations for the Central Office in Cayce. Under limited supervision, you will receive, transport, and deliver time-sensitive correspondence across agencies, adhering to applicable postal policies.

You must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and bilingual English/Spanish skills. Responsibilities include scheduling mail functions, handling deposits, and maintaining cash drawers

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all postal functions and coordinates mail processing for a large geographic area.
• Operates a state vehicle and ensures timely, tracked deliveries.
• Processes incoming/outgoing agency mail and deposits as needed.
• Maintains petty cash and prepares daily financial reports.
• Prepares financial and operational reports from the mail system and coordinates courier routes.
