Job summary

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and work experience in postal, courier or delivery operations.
• An associate degree or higher with one year of supervisory experience may be substituted for the required work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all activities between the U.S. post office and the institution.
• Delivers and picks up all mail.
• Receives U.S. post office and United Parcel Service packages.
• Supervises inspection of all mail for contraband and coordinates activities between the post office and the regulation.
• Researches records for the location of inmates to handle the mail properly.
• Supervises the receiving and distributing of U.S. and department mail.
• Plans and schedules work assignments and employee training.
