Job summary

Comfortable Climate Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a Home Solutions Advisor to meet homeowners in their homes, assess needs, explain options, and guide investments in HVAC solutions across Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, and Middle Peninsula.

You’ll leverage a consultative sales approach to close high-value residential deals, with a focus on building trust and delivering tailored proposals. Competitive base plus commission with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• In-home sales experience is required.
• Background in HVAC, plumbing, roofing, windows, or home-services is preferred.
• Demonstrated history of closing residential sales.
• Experience presenting and selling high-ticket products or services.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, and presentation skills.
• Professional, consultative approach rather than high-pressure sales.
• Ability to manage appointments, follow-ups, proposals, and the full sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners at scheduled in-home appointments.
• Evaluate existing HVAC systems and identify replacement opportunities.
• Understand customer priorities, concerns, and budget expectations.
• Recommend appropriate HVAC and home service solutions.
• Build customized proposals and clearly communicate investment options.
• Guide customers through decision-making and purchasing process.
• Follow up with homeowners when additional consideration is needed.
• Partner with installation and operations teams for a smooth handoff.
