Job summary

Atomic HR client seeks a seasoned trust and compliance leader to own the strategy for the Trust layer, ensuring security, privacy, compliance and auditability are embedded in the software from day one.

You will run the trust transformation across Product, Engineering, Delivery and operations, translating regulatory needs into concrete requirements and reusable controls while guiding cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience owning security, privacy, trust, risk or compliance programs inside a software company.
• Experience in regulated environments such as government, healthcare, Medicaid, health plans or similar high-trust industries.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, NIST 800-series controls, HIPAA and government security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Trust Transformation across Product, Engineering, Customer Delivery and operations.
• Own the Trust & Compliance Program with policies, controls and evidence in place, coordinating control owners across the company.
• Lead audits, assurance and security programs, coordinating external assessments and remediation.
• Turn regulatory, customer, security and privacy requirements into clear product, technical and operational requirements.
