Job summary

Atomic HR seeks a senior trust and compliance expert who is also an exceptional product leader to own the Trust layer strategy and day-to-day program. You will transform how security, privacy, compliance and auditability are embedded across the software, partnering with engineering, product and operations.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience owning security, privacy, trust, risk or compliance programs inside a software company.
• Experience in regulated environments such as government, public-sector tech, healthcare, Medicaid, health plans or similar high-trust industries.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, NIST 800-series controls, HIPAA and government security standards.
• A track record of leading audits, security questionnaires, penetration-testing programs and remediation.
• Strong product management skills: problem definition, requirements, prioritization, roadmap ownership and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Trust Transformation across Product, Engineering and Operations.
• Build Trust Into the Product by defining direction for identity/access, isolation, data governance and auditability.
• Own the Trust & Compliance Program and coordinate controls, policies and evidence.
• Lead audits, assurance and security programs, including SOC 2 readiness and external assessments.
• Be the External Trust Lead, engaging with customers, legal, procurement and government entities.
