Atomic HR is seeking a trusted, hands-on product leader to own the Trust layer, integrating security, privacy, compliance and auditability into the platform. You will lead the Trust Transformation across product, engineering, and operations, translating regulatory and customer requirements into concrete product, technical and operational initiatives.

This senior IC role will partner with security and legal teams, own audits and assurance programs, and act as the external trust contact for

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience owning security, privacy, trust, risk or compliance programs inside a software company.
• Experience in regulated environments such as government or healthcare.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, NIST 800-series controls, HIPAA and government security standards.
• Track record of leading audits, security questionnaires, and remediation.
• Strong product management skills: requirements, roadmap ownership and cross-functional delivery.
• Enough technical fluency to work with senior engineers on architecture and data flows.
• Credible communicator with sophisticated security teams.
• Must be based in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Trust Transformation across the company by turning regulatory and customer requirements into concrete product, technical and operational initiatives.
• Own product direction for identity and access management, data governance, audit logging, and release controls.
• Own the Trust & Compliance program, maintain policies and evidence, and coordinate control owners.
• Lead audits, assurance, and security programs, including SOC 2 and external assessments.
• Be the external trust lead, representing the company to customers, auditors and government agencies.
