Atomic HR is seeking a senior Trust and Compliance leader to own the strategy and requirements for the company’s Trust layer and program. You will run the trust transformation across product, engineering and operations, turning regulatory and customer requirements into concrete product and operational needs.

You will lead audits, supplier risk reviews and external security engagements, while embedding trust into product direction and deployment controls for a software-first environment.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience owning security, privacy, trust or compliance programs inside a software company.
• Experience in regulated environments such as government, Medicaid, health plans or similar high-trust sectors.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, NIST 800-series controls, HIPAA and government security standards.
• Track record leading audits, security questionnaires, penetration tests and remediation.
• Strong product management skills: problem definition, requirements, prioritization, roadmap ownership.
• Enough technical fluency to work with senior engineers on architecture and data flows.
• Credibility and communication skills to present to sophisticated customer security teams.
• Comfort working autonomously while the function and product are still being built.
• You must be based in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Trust Transformation across Product, Engineering, Customer Delivery and operations.
• Own product direction for identity and access management, isolation, data governance, audit logs and release controls.
• Move controls from manual processes to software-enforced capabilities.
• Maintain policies, controls and evidence in Vanta and coordinate control owners.
• Own the compliance roadmap and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Keep a clear view of risks, control gaps, exceptions and remediation commitments.
• Lead audits, assurance and security programs for SOC 2, audits and vendor risk reviews.
• Be the external trust lead, handling customer security requirements and government interactions.
