Citizens Bank seeks a Trust Operations Associate in Johnston, RI to handle money movement and provide operational support. You will grow through mentorship, with potential for more complex responsibilities as you gain experience.

Primary duties include processing deposits, preparing client materials, handling account change confirmations, and monitoring wires. 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in financial services with money movement transactions.
• Positive, customer-focused mindset with consultative skills.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to train and support other team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process movement of money and provide operational support.
• Check deposit processing, system entry, approvals, and notifications.
• Prepare and mail client materials accurately for approval.
• Handle account change confirmations and inquiries.
• Escalate discrepancies and customer inquiries promptly.
• Process wires and monitor security transfers.
• Prepare cost basis reports and send to custodians.
• Conduct reconciliations and data validations.
• Provide coverage for other staff during peak times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
