MiTek Designs truss components and repairs for MiTek customers, solving engineering challenges with innovative approaches. The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, architects, and officials to ensure safety and code compliance.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in Engineering and be prepared for travel while maintaining high safety and quality standards within an office environment and field assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Civil/Structural or Mechanical preferred.
• Equivalent experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Ability to perform algebra, trigonometry, geometry and basic calculus, physics and strength of materials.

Responsibilities

• Creatively design field repairs for truss components following engineering principles.
• Design truss components per customer parameters, using codes and collaboration with engineers to protect public health and safety.
• Discuss design modifications and review methodologies with customers.
