Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and manage work orders and OTC transactions. You will use product knowledge to upsell services, coordinate parts sourcing, and process payments while maintaining clean, safe service areas.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and a professional demeanor. Flexibility for varying shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to clearly write and process Work Orders and OTC transactions.
• Strong suggestive selling skills to generate revenue.
• Basic computer and keyboard skills.
• Professional presentation and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process (pay out) Work Orders and OTC transactions.
• Write up ETA Work Orders and secure Purchase Orders; prepare quotes for customers.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Maintain shift reports and understand payment types.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety at service counters and restrooms.
