TravelCenters of America seeks a Truck Service Advisor to provide first-rate service by leveraging product knowledge and services. You will write work orders, handle OTC transactions, and coordinate quotes and parts with external vendors to keep travelers on the road.

The role emphasizes strong communication, sales skills, and professional presentation, with flexible hours including nights and weekends in a busy service environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience; experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Strong suggestive selling skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Presents self in a professional manner to customers, management, and coworkers.
• A valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions; properly write up an ETA Work Order.
• Secure Purchase Orders, prepare and communicate quotes to customers.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift report; understand various payment types.
• Ensure cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and restrooms; maintain safety.
