Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to provide first-rate service, write work orders, and handle OTC transactions while guiding customers to the right parts and services. You will work in a fast-paced environment across our nationwide truck service network.

The role requires high school education and strong cashier/customer service experience, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. A professional appearance and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in cashiering and customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Professional presentation to customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process (pay out) Work Orders and OTC transactions; write up ETA Work Orders; secure Purchase Orders; prepare and communicate quotes to customers.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift report; understand various payment types.
• Ensure the cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and restrooms.
• Maintain the safety of both customers and team members.
