Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor at one of our travel centers. You will write work orders, handle OTC transactions, and communicate quotes to customers while applying product knowledge and strong service skills.

You’ll need a high school diploma or GED, prior cashier or customer service experience, and a valid driver’s license. The role supports our team with parts sourcing, order processing, and maintaining clean, safe service counters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience; experience in repair or parts shop preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process (pay out) Work Orders and OTC transactions; Properly write up an ETA Work Order; Secure Purchase Orders, Prepare and communicate quotes to customer.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift report; Understand various payment types.
• Ensure the cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and customer restrooms.
• Maintain the safety of both our customers and team members.
