Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group, with a growing service operation. We seek a Service Foreman to supervise technicians, assist in diagnostics, and coordinate repairs with the Service Advisor and customers. You will plan workloads, review progress, and ensure quality and timely completion.

Responsibilities include safety, warranty processing, shop administration, and ongoing training. CDL preferred and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in a related service field, with warranty knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good employee and customer service skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision and performance management of service technicians.
• Schedule and assign work to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with Service Manager and Advisor on repairs and customer communications.
• Review work in process to ensure timely completion.
• Assist in setting realistic sales and gross profit objectives.
• Inspect vehicles after repairs and road test where applicable.
• Record warranty information and manage warranty parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and proper tool condition.
• Pre-plan parts requirements and participate in training.
• Open and close repair orders; perform other duties as assigned.
