Job summary

BFS Petroleum Products, Inc. seeks a Truck Driver to deliver fuel oil, gasoline, and LP in a safe, efficient manner to assigned locations in West Virginia. You will load, transport, and unload products, perform routine inspections, and complete shipping paperwork using DOT regulations as guidance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver fuel oil, gasoline, LP, and related products safely to customers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and operate loading valves.
• Read gauges, record quantities loaded/delivered, and issue customer tickets.
• Maintain vehicle and perform basic bulk plant maintenance as directed.
• Complete required shipping papers and DOT duty logs as required.

Job Title: Truck DriverReporting Relationship: Reports to – Director of OperationsBasic Function:A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.Essential Functions:a. Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.b. Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;c. Opens valves/fills tank.d. Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.e. Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.f. Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)g. Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.h. Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;Qualifications:a. 21 years of age; andb.
