BFS Petroleum Products, Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver fuel oil, gasoline, LP, and related products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. The role requires loading at the rack, performing inspections, and accurately recording deliveries.

The position reports to the Director of Operations and involves adhering to DOT regulations, maintaining the vehicle, and completing necessary paperwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Commercial driver’s license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and climb up to 15 ft.

Aufgaben

• Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers; loads at the filling rack.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness; checks gauges and records quantities loaded.
• Opens valves and fills tanks; reads gauges or meters and records deliveries.
• Records amounts delivered and issues tickets to customers.
• Performs daily bulk plant maintenance and light truck maintenance (washing, etc.).
• Completes required paperwork such as shipping papers and hours-of-duty logs.
• Follows Department of Transportation regulations for operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material, and emergency response.
• Performs similar, comparable, or related duties as required.

Reports to – Director of Operations

Basic Function

A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.

Essential Functions

• a. Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.


• b. Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;


• c. Opens valves/fills tank.


• d. Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.


• e. Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.


• f. Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)


• g. Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.


• h. Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;
