Job summary

Bruceton Petroleum Co., Inc. seeks a Truck Driver to safely deliver fuel oil, gasoline, and LPG. You will load at racks, perform inspections, log deliveries, and complete paperwork under DOT rules.

The role requires valid CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements, lifting ability to 75 lbs, and comfort with climbing up to 15 ft. Training and safety are prioritized in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Commercial driver's license with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to climb up to 15 feet.

Responsibilities

• Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or LPG to customers.
• Loads at loading rack and opens valves or starts pumps.
• Performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for roadworthiness.
• Records quantities delivered and issues tickets to customers.
• Performs daily bulk plant maintenance and light truck maintenance.
• Completes required paperwork such as shipping papers and duty logs.
• Understands and complies with DOT regulations for CMVs and hazardous materials.

Job Title: Truck DriverReporting Relationship: Reports to – Director of OperationsBasic Function:A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.Essential Functions:Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;Opens valves or starts pumps to fill tank.Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;Qualifications:a. 21 years of age; andb.
