BFS Petroleum Products, Inc. is hiring a Truck Driver to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, and LPG to customers across assigned routes in West Virginia. The role requires safe driving, pre/post trip inspections, and proper documentation of shipments.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Hold a commercial driver's license with hazardous material and tanker endorsement.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and climb up to 15 ft.

Responsibilities

• Deliver gasoline, fuel oil, and LPG to customers as assigned.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Open valves and fill tanks as needed.
• Read gauges/meters and record quantities loaded/delivered.
• Issue tickets to customers and document deliveries.
• Conduct daily maintenance on bulk plant equipment and trucks.
• Complete required shipping papers and duty reports.
• Adhere to DOT regulations for operating CMVs and hazardous materials.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to – Director of Operations

Basic Function

A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.

Essential Functions

• a. Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.
• b. Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;
• c. Opens valves/fills tank.
• d. Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.
• e. Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.
• f. Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)
• g. Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.
• h. Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;
