Job summary

BFS Petroleum Products, Inc. seeks a Truck Driver to safely deliver gasoline, fuel oil, and LPG to a variety of customer locations. The role requires operating a tank truck, performing routine inspections, and completing necessary paperwork.

Applicants must have a CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, be at least 21 years old, and be able to lift up to 75 lbs. DOT rules and safety procedures are essential in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• Commercial driver's license with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb up to 15 ft.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for operating a commercial motor vehicle and hazmat response.
• Experience driving tank trucks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or LPG to customers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections for road worthiness.
• Open valves, fill tanks, read gauges, and record shipments.
• Issue receipts and maintain required shipping paperwork.
• Perform daily bulk plant maintenance and light truck maintenance.

Job Title: Truck DriverReporting Relationship: Reports to – Director of OperationsBasic Function:A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.Essential Functions:a. Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.b. Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;c. Opens valves/fills tank.d. Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.e. Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.f. Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)g. Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.h. Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;Qualifications:a. 21 years of age; andb.
