Job summary

Bruceton Petroleum Co., Inc. seeks a Truck Driver to deliver fuel oil, gasoline, LP, and related products to various locations a nd in a safe, efficient manner as directed by the Director of Operations.

The role requires a valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a minimum age of 21, the ability to lift 75 lbs, and the capacity to climb up to 15 ft. Comprehensive DOT compliance knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Commercial driver's license with hazardous material and tanker endorsements.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to climb up to 15 ft.
• Comply with Department of Transportation regulations for CMV and hazmat transport.

Responsibilities

• Drive tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil or LPG to customers.
• Load at filling rack and start pumps; read gauges and record quantities.
• Complete required paperwork and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Maintain trucks and perform light bulk plant maintenance.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and respond to emergencies when needed.

Job Title: Truck DriverReporting Relationship: Reports to – Director of OperationsBasic Function:A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.Essential Functions:Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;Opens valves or starts pumps to fill tank.Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;Qualifications:a. 21 years of age; andb.
