Job summary

Qualifications

• Age 21 years or older.
• Must have CDL with hazardous materials and tanker endorsement.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders or platforms up to 15 ft.

Responsibilities

• Drive tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or LPG to customers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for road worthiness.
• Open valves or start pumps to fill tanks and read gauges.
• Record quantities loaded and issue customer tickets.
• Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers and duty logs.
• Conduct light maintenance on bulk plant equipment and trucks.
• Follow DOT regulations for operating commercial vehicles and handling hazardous materials.
• Respond effectively to emergencies as trained.

Job Title: Truck Driver****Reporting Relationship: Reports to – Director of Operations****Basic Function:****A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.****Essential Functions:***1. Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.2. *Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;*3. Opens valves or starts pumps to fill tank.4. Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.5. Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.6. Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)7. *Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.*8. *Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;*## Qualifications***Qualifications:****a. 21 years of age; and**b.
