Bruceton Petroleum Co., Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver fuel oil, gasoline, and LP to various customers in a safe and efficient manner. The role requires compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and performing necessary pre- and post-trip inspections.

The driver will document deliveries, maintain required paperwork, and assist with light maintenance of trucks and the bulk plant as needed. Must meet age and CDL hazmat/tanker endorsement requirements.

Formación

• 21 years of age.
• Commercial driver's license with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to climb up to 15 ft.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers fuel oil, gasoline, LP and related products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performs pre- and post-trip visual inspections of the vehicle.
• Records quantities delivered and issues tickets to customers; maintains required paperwork.
• Performs maintenance tasks at the bulk plant and for the truck as needed.
• Follows DOT regulations for operating a commercial vehicle and handling hazardous materials.

Job Title: Truck DriverReporting Relationship: Reports to – Director of OperationsBasic Function:A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.Essential Functions:Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;Opens valves or starts pumps to fill tank.Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;Qualifications:a. 21 years of age; andb.
