Job summary

Vanguard Truck Centers in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Service Advisor to drive customer repairs and service sales. You will initiate repairs, communicate estimates and approvals, and coordinate with the service team to ensure timely, accurate orders.

The role requires at least 2 years in service advising, with heavy-duty truck experience preferred and ASE certifications. A valid license and insurability are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Service Advisor experience required.
• Heavy duty truck experience preferred.
• ASE Certifications and Manufacturer Training desired.
• Valid Driver's License required and insurability determined.

Responsibilities

• Exercise Vanguard established processes and procedures.
• Initiate customer repair using the Certified Uptime Center process (JPRO).
• Monitor customer repair process from initiation to close.
• Manage customer communication including relaying diagnosis, estimates and approvals.
• Coordinate internal communications for smooth repair events.
• Drive service sales by upsell opportunities.
• Review Repair Orders before close for accuracy.
• Keep customers informed about the Customer Experience Management survey.
• Review open repair orders daily with Service Manager.
• Attend trainings and participate in department meetings.
• Maintain Vanguard customer service standards and teamwork.
• Keep work area clean and organized; raise issues with resolutions.
