Job summary

California Truck Centers is seeking a Service Advisor to communicate repair needs to customers and relay updates to technicians. You will greet customers, help determine repairs and costs, and prepare repair orders in our service database.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help determine repairs and relevant costs.
• Prepare Repair Orders and enter orders into service database systems.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, labor, and fees; calculate customer payments and deductibles.
• Explain estimates and expected return of vehicles; obtain customer approvals.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage; submit warranty pre-approvals with suppliers.
• Maintain logs/records of customer interactions via phone, email, or in person.
