Baker Tilly is seeking a Manager to deliver ongoing accounting services and grants management for Tribal governments. You will provide high-value deliverables, collaborate with clients, and participate in business consulting activities.

The role involves up to 10–15% travel and engagement with multiple clients, contributing to practice growth and quality accounting implementations in a team-based environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, not for profit and/or governmental experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with commitment to client service.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10–15%.

Mansioni

• Performs operational, accounting, and consulting services for Tribal governments, including monthly closing, grants management, grant reporting, and financial reporting to key decision makers.
• Prepares polished deliverables for clients; ensures timely client deliverables.
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters.
• Collaborates with clients to understand current practices and develop updated processes.
• Performs project start up activities, such as following project work plans and attending kickoff meetings.
• Coordinates with clients during the audit process and helps prepare for audits.
• Assists with helping grow the practice and reviews team work for accuracy.
• Serves as an integral member of our Business Consulting Services team.
• Occasionally travels to client locations, firm trainings, or industry conferences.

Formazione

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

5+ years related experience

Strong verbal and written communication
