Baker Tilly is seeking a Manager to deliver accounting services and grants management for Tribal government clients. You will provide strong client service, develop processes, and help drive audit preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in tribal governments or governmental accounting is expected.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and client service focus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and collaborate across teams.

Responsabilités

• Performs accounting and consulting services for Tribal governments, including monthly closing and grants management.
• Prepares polished deliverables for clients and ensures timely submissions.
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters.
• Works with clients to define processes and update policies and procedures.
• Coordinates with clients during audits and helps prepare for audits.
• Supports practice growth and reviews team work for accuracy.
• Travel to client locations, trainings, or conferences as needed.
