Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees to clear powerlines. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with local union pay scales and safety-focused field work in variable weather.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, debris processing, traffic control, and assisting training. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to join the local union.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders, uneven surfaces.
• Willing to join local union and pay dues.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and branches as directed.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into woodchipper.
• Set up barriers and direct traffic for safety.
• Assist training of new employees.
• Maintain good housekeeping on trucks and work sites.
