Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees for utility line clearance. This full-time, non-exempt role involves operating and servicing tools, loading debris, and coordinating with crew in outdoor environments.

The candidate should be comfortable with heights, physically capable of long shifts, and willing to join the local union. A valid driver’s license is required; pre-employment screenings may apply. Competitive hourly pay with union benefits.

Qualifications

• Prolonged physical work outdoors with exposure to weather.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders and at various heights.
• Willingness to join local union and pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits debris for disposal or reuse.
• Sprays areas to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and manages brush flow to woodchipper.
• Ensures safety for self and others around the site.
