Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees to clear powerlines. This full-time, non-exempt role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to join the local union, and the ability to work at height under various weather conditions.

You will operate and maintain tools, load debris, and assist in training new employees while ensuring safety and efficiency on site. Entry-level positions are available with growth opportunities within the team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights and uneven surfaces.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Willing to join local union and pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Keeps trucks and work area clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and public from hazards in the work area.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
