Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees for utility line clearance. This full-time, non-exempt role requires climbing, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe work area.

Ideal candidates are 18+, comfortable with heights, and willing to join the local union. Pre-employment screening applies; compensation is competitive hourly pay per the local union contract.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and physically capable of demanding outdoor work.
• No fear of heights, ability to climb, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Trim, tops, and reshape trees to clear powerlines and improve safety.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment in outdoor settings.
• Load/unload gear, manage debris, and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Assist in training new employees and follow strict safety protocols.

Skills

Excellent hand-eye coordination
