Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, top, and reshape trees to clear powerlines. This full-time, non-exempt role involves operating tools, loading debris, and working outdoors in varying conditions. Training and safety are emphasized, with union participation required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders or heights.
• Able to work in varying weather conditions and handle equipment.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and branches to provide clearance for utility powerlines.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Load and unload materials and debris; feed debris into wood chipper.
• Maintain safety around workers and the public; set up barriers and signs.
• Assist training of new employees and inspect tools/equipment.

Skills
