Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services seeks a dedicated climber to perform tree trimming and removal according to Foreperson guidance. You will handle gear, ensure safety, and contribute to storm restoration efforts as required.

The role requires climbing ability, knowledge of rigging, and readiness to work outdoors in varied conditions. A high school diploma and valid CPR/first aid certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of knots, ropes, and rigging for tree work.
• Emergency rescue and first aid knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Climb, prune, and remove trees per Foreperson’s directives.
• Load/unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Inspect tools and equipment; ensure safety of the work area.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed.
