Job summary

Smiles of Ohio seeks a Treatment Coordinator to educate new patients on treatment options, manage financial arrangements, and cultivate strong patient relationships. You will work to keep schedules full by following up on leads and coordinating exams, consultations, and referrals as needed.

The role emphasizes outbound communication, relationship-building with patients, and a proactive approach to driving case acceptance, while supporting local marketing and events in the community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in sales or service industry.
• Outgoing, approachable, and empathetic; proactive and adaptable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual a plus, but not required.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and work with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Present orthodontic treatment plans and educate patients on the plan of treatment.
• Explain financial options and educate on payment plans.
• Follow up with potential patients to schedule consultations and keep schedules full.
• Prepare patients for exams and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
• Assist in local store marketing and community events.
