Job summary

Progress Residential seeks a Workforce Development Trainer to deliver Progress Residential University’s Technical Skills Academy and other development programs for front-line employees. The role requires travel 50-75%, and when not traveling, office-based work is expected.

You will develop content, partner with Service Managers to meet learning needs, and assess program effectiveness using data. Proficiency in MS Office and Canva is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in general trades, HVAC, construction and maintenance.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and learning and development best practices.
• Experience implementing instructional materials in a variety of media.
• Flexible to deliver training in classroom, virtual, on-the-job formats.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible training.
• Experience measuring and reporting training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate skill-based curriculums to support front-line trade employees.
• Provide subject matter expertise in developing training content.
• Build relationships with Service Managers and market leaders to identify needs.
• Evaluate and modify training programs to improve performance and learning.
• Test learning technologies to boost engagement and outcomes.
• Gather learning data and report on training impact.
