Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Workforce Development Trainer to deliver Progress Residential University’s Technical Skills Academy and other development programs for front-line employees. The role requires travel 50%–75% of the time and office-based work when not traveling.

You will partner with Service Managers and market leaders to pinpoint training needs, test new learning technologies, and measure the effectiveness of programs across nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in general trades, HVAC, construction and maintenance.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and development best practices.
• Experience developing instructional materials across media.
• Flexible to deliver training in classroom, virtual, on-the-job formats.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and accessibly.
• Experience using learning technologies to support activities.
• Proven ability to measure and report training effectiveness.
• Strong use of MS Office and Canva for training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate skill-based curriculums to support front-line growth.
• Provide SME input in developing training content aligned with best practices.
• Build relationships with Service Managers and market leaders to identify needs.
• Evaluate training programs and suggest improvements for performance.
• Test learning technologies to boost engagement and retention.
• Gather data and analyze training impact across the workforce.
