Job summary

IES Communications seeks a Traveling Superintendent to oversee medium to large telecom construction projects on customer sites nationwide. You will lead project staff, ensure safety and quality, and maintain project schedules and budgets to meet customer delivery goals.

The role requires strong supervisory experience and a background in telecommunications, with proficiency in MS Office and willingness to travel as needed. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid in installments.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ supervisory or managerial experience.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, promote, and discharge project staff as needed.
• Acts as senior Company liaison for operational interface with customer representatives.
• Plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
• Ensure deadlines are met per customer requirements and manage workload distribution.
• Review job cost postings and ensure accuracy; handle invoicing and reporting.
