Job summary

IES Communications in Monroe, LA is seeking a Traveling General Superintendent to lead complex projects on-site nationwide. The role includes a $7,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments over the first year, with overtime available and strong focus on safety, quality and financial performance.

The General Superintendent will recruit and manage staff, serve as the primary on-site customer contact, monitor profitability, schedules and resource allocations, and ensure timely delivery of project

Qualifications

• Minimum five years supervisory/managerial experience.
• Minimum three years as Lead Communications Technician or similar role.
• Minimum five years in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficiency with computer and MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Must meet company driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise and discipline project staff.
• Act as senior liaison with customer representatives.
• Plan and manage project profitability and deadlines.
• Ensure effective workload distribution and on-time delivery.
• Review job cost postings and invoicing for accuracy.
• Complete project paperwork like timesheets and change orders.
• Lead on-site meetings and ensure safety and quality compliance.
