Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services across the United States, offering diverse electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions. The Traveling Superintendent will oversee medium to large projects, drive safety, quality, and financial performance, and ensure staffing and materials align with client requirements.

The role requires at least 3 years of supervisory experience and 5 years in telecommunications or related fields, with strong MS

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Lead Communications Technician or similar.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Must be proficient with computer and MS Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise project staff and manage HR issues.
• Act as senior liaison with customer representatives.
• Plan for and manage project profitability and deadlines.
• Ensure on-time completion and budget compliance.
• Review job costs, invoicing and financial reporting to customer and management.
• Complete project paperwork accurately and on time.
• Promote safety as a priority on site.
• Lead on-site meetings and training sessions.
