• Must have ability to define a project, create a scope of work, develop estimates and manage tasks to completion.

Responsibilities

• The General Superintendent will recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise and discharge project staff; oversee HR matters.
• The General Superintendent acts as senior liaison for operational interface with customer representatives.
• Plan, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to meet company goals.
• Ensure deadlines are met per customer requirements.
• Manage workload distribution, staffing levels and monitor progress.
• Ensure productivity, project completion and compliance with budget.
• Review job cost postings for accuracy and prepare invoices and financial reporting.
• Complete all project paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, transfers, work orders, etc.).
• Perform quality checks and safety promotions; conduct day-to-day site walks and produce as-built drawings.
• Lead on-site customer meetings and attend facility/construction meetings as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; monitor processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop, redesign and implement process improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with Training Department to promote safety as a priority.
• Lead operations meetings and training sessions.
• Oversee tools and vehicle inventory and maintenance.
• Complete any other responsibilities as assigned.
