Job summary

IES Communications, LLC in Tempe, AZ, seeks a Superintendent for large-scale telecommunications projects. You will ensure installation and maintenance meet safety, quality, and customer requirements while leading crews, coordinating with the customer, and managing project budgets.

This 100% travel role requires at least three years of supervisory experience, five years in telecom, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

Three+ years supervisory or managerial experience.
Five+ years in telecommunications or related field.
Strong computer skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage project crews and training; enforce safety and quality; hold weekly safety meetings; apply corrective action.
Act as senior liaison with customer representatives.
Ensure deadlines meet customer requirements.
Manage workload distribution and staffing.
Oversee job completion, productivity, and budget compliance.
Complete IES paperwork on time; prepare closeout packages.
Perform quality checks and troubleshoot during site walks; prepare as-built drawings.
Be the main on-site customer contact for questions.
Demonstrate technical knowledge and resolve issues.
Review processes for accuracy and efficiency in estimating, purchasing, invoicing, warehousing, scheduling and reporting.
Develop and implement process improvements.
Coordinate with Training Department on quality and safety issues; promote safety.
Lead operations meetings and training sessions.
Manage tool and truck inventory and maintenance.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
