Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a General Superintendent for a large, complex project in the Monroe area. You will oversee safety, quality and financial performance while ensuring on-time delivery and superior customer service, with significant travel as required.

The role requires extensive supervisory experience in telecommunications, strong planning skills, and proficiency with industry standards and project documentation. Onsite work and leadership across crews are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• 3+ years as Lead Communications Technician or similar.
• 5+ years in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & MS Project).
• Must be able to travel within branch/regional territory.
• Ability to read blueprints and project documents.
• Must meet Company driving standards.
• Ability to learn and use project management systems.
• Able to work at heights, lift up to 50 lbs, move up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise and discharge project staff per company policy.
• Serve as senior liaison with customer representatives.
• Plan and manage project profitability and deadlines.
• Monitor workload distribution and staffing levels.
• Review job costs, invoices and financial reporting.
• Complete timely timesheets, change orders and job paperwork.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance with budgets.
• Attend field meetings and on-site customer inquiries.
