Job summary

Elara Caring in Jasper, Texas is seeking a Special Care Aide (SCA) to join our home-based care team. This PRN role offers flexibility and travel across the service area, serving as the first contact for new clients and ensuring a smooth Start of Care.

As an SCA, you will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and support the branch team with accurate documentation and timely updates. This position helps you build leadership potential within Elara Caring.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED as required by state regulations.
• Minimum six months of experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals.
• Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, CNA or similar certification where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene.
• Assist with meals and daily living activities.
• Perform housekeeping and household support as needed.
• Travel throughout the assigned service area to support clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and visit records.
