Job summary

Elara Caring in Elk City, OK is seeking a Special Care Aide (SCA) to support clients at home across a flexible, PRN schedule. You'll be the first face clients see, helping with daily living tasks and coordinating with the branch team to ensure a smooth care experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of caregiving, a high school diploma or GED, and comfort using mobile apps and electronic documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED as required by state regulations.
• Minimum six months of caregiving for elderly or disabled individuals.
• Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, CNA, MA or similar certification as required.
• Comfort with mobile apps and electronic documentation systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel across the service area.

Responsibilities

• Support new client admissions and Start of Care visits.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform housekeeping and household support.
• Assist with errands and transportation as appropriate.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition and document visits.
