Job summary

MC Machinery Systems Inc. is seeking a Sinker EDM Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites. This 100% travel role covers the US and potentially international assignments.

On-site support and remote troubleshooting via phone are required, with ongoing documentation of service activities. Ideal candidates have 2 years of electronic or technical education, strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• 2 year Electronic or Technical Degree or experience equivalent.
• Skilled in Electrical measurement and inspection techniques (Voltmeter, Oscilloscope).
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Reading mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair.
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed.
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
• Document product problems and resolutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
