Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking a Wire EDM Field Service Technician for Dayton/Columbus, OH area. This 100% travel position requires diagnosing, repairing, and testing complex problems on Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites and via telephone when suitable.

Qualifications

• Reading mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams is essential.
• CNC programming is a plus that may be used on jobs.
• Proficient with Windows operating systems and on-site repairs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair.
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling and rebuilding as needed.
• Diagnose problems and troubleshoot via telephone when required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and document resolutions.
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze issues.
