Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking a Wire EDM Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair complex Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites across the United States. This is a 100% travel position, primarily Monday through Friday.

You will use mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, and test equipment, read schematics and wiring diagrams, and document issues and resolutions.

Qualifications

• 2-year Electronic or Technical Degree, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Skilled in Electrical measurement and inspection techniques (Voltmeter, Oscilloscope and others).
• Skilled in mechanical measurement and inspection techniques (Dial Indicators, Micrometers, Calipers).

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair.
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling and rebuilding as needed.
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
• Document in detail product problems and resolutions.
