Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead Self-Perform Operations on complex construction projects, planning, forecasting, and coordinating work while supervising trade labor to meet safety, schedule, and quality targets.

The role emphasizes developing safety programs with EH&S, integrating SPO schedules into the overall project timeline, and mentoring forepersons. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as Superintendent managing self-perform work or equivalent (Trades Foreperson, Surveyor, Project Engineer).
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of self-perform work, tools, equipment, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, scopes of work, and project schedule.
• Knowledge of EH&S practices and continuous improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and implement safety programs in collaboration with EH&S for SPO and trades.
• Coordinate SPO schedules and integrate into main project schedule to meet productivity goals.
• Lead SPO forepersons and supervise trade labor on site.
• Validate quantities, progress, and procurement related to SPO tasks.
• Identify risks, communicate with project leaders, and resolve field issues.
