Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead Self-Perform Operations (SPO) on drywall and general trades projects. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise SPO staff, subcontractors, and material flow to meet safety, quality, and schedule goals.

You will oversee production, labor staffing, and procurement, leveraging last planner and lean methods to optimize performance. This role requires 90–100% travel and strong collaboration with Owners, Architects, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and experience in a related field
• Strong knowledge of interior systems and related tools/equipment
• Experience with lean principles and scheduling/cost control

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, lead, direct, and coordinate SPO staff, subcontractors, and suppliers on drywall and trades projects
• Sequence work to meet project schedule and integrate with project schedule
• Monitor production, take-off, deliveries, and safety compliance
• Develop and implement SPO safety plan and site logistics
• Lead hiring decisions for trade labor and manage staffing levels
